Rev. Mahn received by letter into the Congregational church on last Sunday Mr. and Mrs. J.B. McAdoo.

Dr. Gregg and wife and T.S. Hornberger and wife spent a day last week with friends in Savannah. Mrs. Hornberger is located in her new home in Perry township, with Miss Ora Drake for company, while T.S. makes his home with Dr. Gregg the remainder the school year.

Mr. Chapman, of Ravenna, spent several days recently with his daughter, Mrs. Albert Warring.

Mrs. J.H. Miller and Clarence Beard of Pittsfield, spent New Year's in Barberton with Mrs. Miller's brother and sister.

Mrs. Ellen Gould, of Perrington, Mich., came last week and is stopping with her son Fenton.

Mr. Findley has been favored recently by visits from two brothers, one last week from Canton. He and Mrs. Findley very pleasantly entertained at their home on last Friday night qite a company of invited guests.

Prof. and Mrs. Coppas entertained friends on Saturday evening to tea.

Miss Fanny Wells has returned from her brother's in Ashland, and is seen again on our streets.

Mrs. Furlong and daughter Nellie, of near Dayton, are the guests of Melvin Parmely and "Aunt Louis" Parmely.

A company of thirty-six gathered recently at the home of Honathan Koons and brought well filled baskets, the company being his children. They enjoyed the day, but would have been much better had Mr. Koons not been in such poor health.

Ice is being harvested by every one who has a place to store it.

The Ladies' Aid society of the Christian Church meets with Mrs. Ellen Ward Wednesday. A large attendance is expected.

C.J. Smith, after spending the holiday with his family, left Monday forenoon for his field of labor.

The following Sunday school officers were elected on last Sunday at the Christian church for the term of six months: Superintendent, Scott A. Clark; assistant, W.G. Clark; secretary, Zoe Park; chorister, Ora Hankison; assistant, Rena Rice; organist, Maud Findley. Assistant superintendent, primary department, Mrs. S.W. Rice.
