Mrs. E.H. Charles visited near Mansfield the past week.
Sam. Wilson had a fine lot of wood sawed last week.
Abner Whitamire left Wednesday for Toledo.
C.C. Staman was here on business last week.
Mr. Rothrock, of Ontario, is canvassing here in the interests of the Clyde nursuries.
Ad. Kagey, one of our friends of Mifflin, was fortunate enough to get the job of assistant baggage master at the Union depot at Mansfield and went on Jan. 1, but last week he almost had the misfortune of being killed, while loading baggage on the passenger a T.U.V.&O. engine approached and Mr. Kagey was warned by a brakeman just in time to save his life.
Mrs. Robinson and daughter, of near Widowsville, died last week.
