W.A. Bachelder took in a lot of hogs and a carload of sheep at the scales last Thursday.
Mrs. S.S. Syler is visiting her daughter at Manchester, Ind. this week.
A.E. Whitamire expects to go to Columbus next week.
Rev. Kiefer will begin a series of meetings at the Mt. Zion church some time during this week.
W.H. Culler transacted business in Mansfield last Friday.
After a summer's work, Solomon Vail succeeded in putting a cellar under his house, but now it resembles a fish pond with over three feet of water. This is hard luck.
E.H. Charles was in Mansfield last Saturday. He reports the roads as deserving much comment.
