S.K. Glenn's sale last Friday was well attended and all the articles sold at "prosperity" prices.
George Culler, of Pleasant Valley, is moving some of his goods to the Kagey farm, north of Mifflin, where he has rented and will move soon.
Jacob Smith and W.W. Matthews of Lucas, had their sale Saturday last. A few from here were in attendance.
Emerson Climenhaga and Marion Hoover have brought Dan Hoover's interest in the saw-mill and thresher.
William Koons was in Ashland last week in business. The roads were the worst he ever traveled. He declares one man could not lift the one side of a wheel so much mud and ice clung to them.
Patterson Applegate was here last week contracting building for the summer.
