H.S. Kiefer left recently for Medina, where he accepted a position in a music store.

C.M. Pierce began the spring term at Widowville, acting as superintendent and primary instruction at one and the same time.

William France has cast his tend in Crestline for the future.  Charles Lewis purchased and moved into the property vacated by the afore mentioned.  James Lewis moved to Lucas.  Ed. Ritchie moved to the France neighborhood.  This is a brief summary of the changes that April 1 has made in our community.

The township election passed off quietly.  The following is the result:  Clerk, J.C. Robinson;  Trustee, Chris Grunewald;  Assessor, Curt Eihinger;  Supervisor District No. 1, Solomon Vail.

Josiah Zellner sports a fine span of Kentucky mules.

A.E. Whitamire and Ed Ruyher are putting up 100 rods of picket fence for E.C. Charles.

P.J. Wigton closed a very successful term of school at Fairview Hall, April 1, with an entertainment in the evening.

George Swann was here a few days ago.  He reports everything as running smoothly in Possum Hollow.

J.W. Stillwagon was here transacting business recently.

Frank Smalley, of Jeromesville, passed through here April 4, en route to Lucas.

Dr. J.W. Ogden, of Hayesville, stopped at our "place of holding forth" one day last week.
