A rag sewing was held at Mrs. Samuel Wilson's last Wednesday.  About 20 women were present.

Byron Vail is home from Vermillion Institute where he has attended school the past term.

The Mt. Zion C.E. were entertained at the home of Miss Bertha Culler Friday evening.  Nearly all were present and all enjoyed the evening.

It is reported that William Hull, formerly of this place, died in Mansfield last Tuesday, April 12.  Hull was reared west of here a few miles and was known by everybody in this and adjoining neighborhoods.

We were misquoted in last week's letter.  Ed Reyher moved into the Fronce neighborhood and Frank Ritchie moved on Albert Milligan's farm vacated by Balliet and Ohl.

N.W. Tucker shipped a car load of hogs from Charles' scales last Thursday.

Albert Milligan is reported as dangerously ill with pneumonia.

School elections passed off quietly at Buckeye Hall District No. 1.  William Lavengood was elected for a term of three years and Samuel Harlan for one year.

Mrs. Mary Zook, of near Mansfield, visited Mrs. E.H. Charles last week.

Clara Syler and Harriet Applegate were at Hayesville last Friday.
