S.S. Syler was in Knox County last week.
Elzy King, the enterprising News agent, is a hustler and keeps us well posted by a liberal supply of dailies.
Bert Byers is driving a fine new road horse.
E.H. Charles sold about six acres of his stock in the Blackfork to Simon Whitamire, County Surveyor Neidermire surveyed it last Wednesday, using a boat most of the time. The stock had been "watered" so much that its dividends became so great as to cause Mr. Charles much trouble to take care of them and now Mr. Whitamire has greatly added to the appearance and value of his own. This change however, necessitates a change in the waterway, which will require much work.
