Skiles Palmer, wife and baby returned to their home in Shelby Monday having spent several days with W. W. Armstrong and family.

Tom Sigler and wife of Chicago are visiting their parents, L. W. Siger and wife.

Miss Alice Diffenjarf of Akron is visiting her mother on South street .

Sam Budd and family moved to their new home on Bank street , Ashland , last Wednesday.  We are sorry to see them go as they were some of our best citizens.

Miss Eisle Steele of Cleveland is visiting relatives in town.

The children's day exercises at the Church of God were postponed until next Saturday night on account of the heavy rain storm last Sunday night.

Mrs. Emma Glass and Mrs. Celia McKinley attended the Home Missionary Association of the Methodist church at Mansfield Wednesday night.

Miss Anna Armstrong came home last week from Massachusetts , where she has been attending school.

The young friends of Miss Rose Budd gave her a farewell surprise at her home on East street Tuesday evening.  The evening was spent in games.  refreshments were served.

William Jr., is the name of the new boy that arrived at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Ogden Saturday.

Miss Alpha Lattiimer of near Mifflin visited her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jake Elchelberger, the past week.
