HAYESVILLE JOURNAL:  12 August 1886, Vol. 12, No. 6

MARRIED -- At the residence of the officiating clergyman, Rev. Geo. W. Walker, east of this place, Sabbath morning, August 8, 1886.  Mr. L.H. Seamans and Miss Clara E. Brian, both of Hayesville.

HAYESVILLE JOURNAL:  28 October 1886, Vol. 12, No. 17

MARRIED -- Mr. John McNaul and Miss Clara Smith, were married at the residence of the bride's parents, Mr. & Mrs. Daniel Smith, 2½ miles northeast of this place, on Thursday evening of last week.  The nuptial knot was tied at 7 o'clock p.m. by Rev. Bergner of Rowsburg.

HAYESVILLE JOURNAL:  09 December 1886, Vol. 12, No. 23

Mr. Harry Dunnavant, of Mansfield, and Miss Effie Hart, of Hayesville, were married by Rev. Mr. Huddleston at the parsonage on Friday evening last at 7 o'clock p.m., in the presence of invited witnesses and friends.  It will please their numerous friends to know that Mansfield has been chosen for their future home.  May their life be bright and crowned with success. -- Re-printed from the HERALD.

On Thursday last, Emma A. Crow, a lady who resides in this place, went to the Probate Judge's office and applied for a license for herself and W.R. Coleman.  The Judge questioned her as to whether she was aware of his situation, and she replied she was, and he granted the license, and in the evening they were married at the bridegroom's residence. -- Re-printed from the ASHLAND SUN.
