LOUDONVILLE Jack Parrot is the proud father of a 14-pound girl baby. Dr. C.L. Buckwalter is receiving a $12.00 per month pension for catarrhal deafness incurred in the service. Phillip Schneider was born in Holmes County, Ohio, September 2d., 1839. In early infancy he was dedicated unto the Lord through holy baptism and in youth ratified his baptismal vows in the churchly rites of confirmation in the Evangelical Lutheran church near Greersville, Ohio, and he remained faithful to his vows until death. On May 31st., 1864, he was married to Mrs. Georgiana Maria Barien (nee Baxley). One son was born unto them. He received injuries by the falling of the derrick at the construction of the new bridge on last Tuesday, July 21st., 1891, and died from the injuries on Thursday morning at 8:20 at the age of 51 years, 10 months and 21 days. On the evening before his death he again confessed the firm hope of a Christian. There remains to mourn for him the bereaved widow, one son, a step-son and a step-daughter, the aged father, six brothers and one sister and other relatives and friends. The funeral took place on Saturday, July 25th., and the services were held in the Evangelical Lutheran Zion church where the pastor, Rev. M.R. Walter, discoursed on Prov. 8:1.
