Sheriff Jones of Ashland, was in the city Saturday morning looking after the interest of his second term in this county. Mr. Jones has made a good sheriff and deserves his second term.
"Doc" Esselburn, one of Wayne County's prominent farmers and stock dealers, was in town Friday.
Barney Shank, of Nashville, attended the horse sale Friday.
Frank Barrett, of Marion, formerly of this place, visited among friends Friday.
Miss Grace Steaner, of Spencerville, is visiting Mont Beach and wife, this week.
Mrs. Ed Jones is rusticating among friends at Mansfield.
The Rev. E.S. Sears attended the Wooster district conference at Orange last week.
Mrs. R.C. Robison left Friday for Nebraska, where she will visit with friends at Omaha and Lincoln.
