Mrs. Zoe Bowman visited with her sister at Loudonville, Saturday.
Carl Ayers, who has been attending school at the Wooster University, returned home Monday.
Miss Myrtle Keller, of Shelby, is the guest of J.L. Derrow and family over Sunday.
O.E. Yarnell and family, of Mansfield, visited with his brother-in-law, W.E. Jones, a few days.
Mrs. George Beck, of Crestline, was the guest of Charey Shroff and family over Sunday.
L.W. Peterson and lady friend spent Thursday evening with friends at Loudonville.
James C. Andrews, president of the Farmers' Telephone Company, was in the city Friday.
Harry Kershner and his hands are pushing the work on the Lutheran church. It will be completed in about 10 days.
Campbell Hughes, of Ripley, Holmes County, was in town Friday. Mr. Hughes is one of their prominent stock dealers.
Andy Parr, our popular landlord, expects to go out of the hotel business soon. We are sorry to see him go as he is a good jolly fellow.
The Republicans of Green Township met in the town hall Saturday evening and elected delegates to congressional convention to be held at Wellington. A.N. Quick and Prof. E.C. Keplinger was chosen.
Frank Brown, Guy Alban, Perry Barrett and Winfield Darling left Saturday for Shreve to join Company H and left on No. 20 for Camp Alger, Falls Church, Va. Quite a number of people were at the depot to see them off.
Hershel Beavers and Charles Clugh played with the Lucas Ball team last Saturday against Lexington. The score was 13 to 0 in favor of Lexington. Boys, practice before going away from home.
The regular monthly business meeting of the Baptist Church was held June 20. S.A. Sherman, H.T. Boyd and W.A. McDowell were elected delegates to the conference held at Shelby, June 25.
Andy Parr and Pass Darling made a business trip to Hayesville Friday.
John Caster purchased a fine team of horses at Mansfield, Wednesday.
W.F. Humphrey made a business trip to Pittsburg, Saturday.
James Truman has disposed of his interest in the grocery business at Perrysville to his son and will now travel for the telephone company.
H.H. Darling made a business trip to Newville, Friday.
John Doty, who is attending business college at Mansfield, spent Sunday at home.
Miss Edith Baughman is visiting among her friends at Mansfield this week.
James Childs, one of our popular business men, was at Wooster Friday.
H.A. Gallagher and Charles Swassick were on another fishing tour. The boys reported a better haul than before and we were on hand to see what they caught. Eight pounds of bass was what the scales pulled. That is good boys.
