Bright days are welcome. Flags are floating in our little patriotic town and discussion is on. Get your flags out patriotics.

Wednesday evening the people gathered together at the Methodist Episcopal church in union prayer meeting for our county and the right in this world conflict.

Rev. Mr. Young is called away for a part of the week.

Rev. Mr. Drumm preached an excellent Easter sermon Sunday evening.

Rev. Mr. Burris is scheduled to address a Butler township annual gathering on an educational subject Thursday evening at Adario.

Union services are to be held in the Presbyterian church Sunday evening.

A silver medal contest will be given under the auspices of the Savannah W. C. T. U., Thursday evening, April 19, 1917, in the town hall at 8 p.m. The six contestents are all students of the Savannah high school. The program will be enlivened with vocal and instrumental music. A pleasing feature will be songs sung by the children of the local L. T. L. All are cordially invited. Admission 10 cents.
